This front office has fumbled so hard aside from Scottie the last few years its insane and even now they’re limiting his growth to pump up Fred and Siakams numbers in a dead season.

If you ever think our decision is bad, just remember that the Wolves traded away Kessler, a bag of used peanuts and 5 first round picks for Rudy “the 200 million dollar shot blocker” Gobert
Also remember hindsight is 20/20. Every fanbase will have that “gosh, why didn’t we do this?” moment, even the most successful franchises

Koloko has played the 21st most mins out of all rookies this year. As well as 27MPG in 12 G League games.
There is a narrative that we have just not developed or given him any chance. Its just not true.

You guys need to start supporting Koloko. It’s been 5 months of basketball. Kessler is a good young player, and he is better at this point in their respective development cycles but literally anytime anybody posts anything about Koloko yall are in here dreaming about Kessler lol
Koloko is at the bottom of his development curve, he has shown that in a pinch he can put the ball on the floor and drive, he’s shown a willingness to take 3s, and he’s come a long way in a short amount of the season. Rookie defensive centers are always going to eat fouls early in the NBA.
Remember that we did not take Koloko over Kessler, or because of his floor, but his ceiling. Whether you like Kessler’s game or not, Koloko is VERY MUCH the better athlete. He is faster, has a longer wingspan. Yes, Kessler is an elite shot blocker, that’s what is draft profile said. BUT the reality is that Koloko is a big man who has shown potential in both putting the ball on the floor, shooting 3s, shot blocking, perimter defense. IF he gets to his ceiling, he is a cheat code and will be a way better player than Kessler. The question is IF though. Not everybody hits their ceiling, and if the offensive game doesn’t come, then he will be a one dimensional perimeter defender and won’t last in the league that long. Kessler will be the better player.
But for you guys acting as if you don’t see Koloko’s potential, it’s in his athleticism, length, and the skills he’s shown on the court. Remember, centers don’t need to get to 40+% like guards do when it comes to 3 point shooting. Even a 20-30% will have a major impact in how he needs to be guarded and will open things up for him so let’s give him an offseason with the pros to see what it does for us.

Pretty even considering the minute discrepancy, and blocks are the only thing Kessler does
same people complaining about the pick were this insistent on Skal Labissiere being better than Pascal

I think the Raptors will develop Koloko in the manner they did Pascal, and he will be very good starter for this team in the future. Not saying Pascal level, but a steal for the 2nd rounder. That being said, Walker Kessler would have been a better pick up, no argument whatsoever.

if koloko got all of thad’s minutes we’d be 6th seed at least
Kessler….
But he’s not Walker Kessler
Not much difference between 20th and 33rd pick according to Bobby…
I’d take the following players before Koloko in no particular order:
Branham,
Walker,
Beauchamp,
Jovic,
Nembhard,
Jaylin Williams,
Jaden Hardy
