Michigan transfer Hunter Dickinson is still exploring his options in the transfer portal, and after a meeting with Kentucky basketball, it looks like the odds are in the Wildcats’ favor now more than ever.
On today’s episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe provides an update on Dickinson’s status and explains his thoughts on the Kentucky Wildcats’ chances to land him. The Syracuse Orange, Kansas Jayhawks, Georgetown Hoyas, Duke Blue Devils and Maryland Terrapins are all viable destinations as well… but does Kentucky have an edge over all of them? Dawe shares his opinions.

I personally like the lack of respect. Better than putting all this pressure on a young team to start the season and maybe it lights a fire. Making sure reeves comes back is important, adding a hybrid 3/4 guy( ideally keeping Livingston obviously), and adding a big depending on how you plan to use Bradshaw…

UK could be really really good next year if they focus on fit more than stats to fill out next year's roster with the 2 or 3 transfers they bring in. Unfortunately, I dont trust Cal, Orlando, or whatever the other assistant's name is to do the boring office work that would require and will just sign the 3 biggest names they can.

Dickinson would be a great pickup. Could pair well with Bradshaw as a high/low combo. Just dont see him picking UK when he can go to other Bluebloods like Duke or Kansas and be on just as good or better team and not have a 5* footer breathing down his throat. Also, if Dickinson does choose UK, zero chance Oscars returns. Although I feel like Dickinson would be a better fit on 24' roster cause he can pass and screen which are two things Oscar was horrible at and is really needed for UK to look like a half decent offense.

It's hilarious 247 sports has always been UK haters. And the fact they have Tennessee and north Carolina in there and not UK is so funny. KY is top 25 just off the class coming in. With potential to not only be top 10 but top 5.

I disagree on us being top 25 because we don't have a bench yet. Also, none of these players are proven yet at the college level. We have had several 5 star players even on the team currently that hasn't worked out. Remember 2015 recruiting class?
