This roster as a group is overrated.
You know Fred messed up when Will starts messing with him.
All Jeff Dowtin has done is prove he belongs in this league and has earned the trust of his coach over numerous other players. He plays good defence, never turns the ball over, and yet here is is on the outside looking in. You can’t tell me that Joe Weezy has earned his spot over Dowtin. Insane.
Raptors’ development? Oshea Brisset, Yuta, even Svi … all three have gone on to success with other teams.
They got rid of DeRozan for a lot less

I don’t know how it took will this late in the season is to realize this team needs serious help and most likely a true rebuild that may last years, we’ve already wasted 2/3 years we should’ve been using to rebuild properly so we’re just postponing the inevitable.
Right from the beginning of the year, there has been just straight up pointless moves being made. Juancho, Champagnie, Joe.. even the 905 looks ass backwards most the year. Delano.. now Jeff. I see Fred getting hurt and I’m thinking now Jeff has to get signed. Just why? I see management wanting these players and a coach who doesn’t want to play them
FVV needs to go. He's not even worth $15 mill a year. I'd take Gabe Vincent over FVV at this point.

Seems simple to me. Clear divide between mgmt and coach. Mgmt added two guards in Banton and Flynn that they believe in and want to develop and Coach doesnt trust them so he goes with the guy that he likes in Dowtin but only on a two way. By waiving a player and signing Downtin it means the last two yrs of draft picks dont matter. And Masai mentioned it in his last presser that he wants the young guys to get more minutes. Nurse goes in a media rant to voice displeasure.
