I really don’t think its that big of a deal. We have probably 4 games left until our season is over. Dowtin will get brought back for training camp next year.

I have said for a while now that either the FO and Nurse aren’t on the same page. It has been pretty obvious that Nurse didn’t like the players he was being given and the FO hadn’t put their foot down on playing the players they gave him

MLSE just being cheap. They don’t want to give Thad his 500k bonus (if he hits 60 games he gets it, he’s at 54) so no surprise there that he hasn’t been playing. They don’t wanna convert Dowtin. They desperately want some playoff revenue. Over $600 for 100 level seats is crazy for a play in game against the Bulls. With the ownership being this stingy and difficult I’m scared Masai gonna dip in a couple years cuz this team is not going anywhere like this.

If I were Dowtin, I’d already be looking for a contract elsewhere. I know the FO can just match anything because he’s restricted, but the relationship already seems soured.

Honestly the disconnect between the Front office, & Nick Nurse makes me think that Nurse is highly considering leaving. I think it’s a whole slew of issues but our bench development system is in a shit-hole right now. Things need to change.

Seems really spiteful to just release him after NN vouching for him on the same exact day so maybe this was a mutual decision.

When NN was asked if FO and him are in same picture during very mid of season. His answer was “100%” – I was never thought about gap between coach and FO until that moment, since his answer made me felt so weird – did he need to be so emphasized?
