The teams in front of us have had a soft schedule while we dropped games to injured teams.

Pretty simple, most of our wins in this stretch were blowouts, and most of our losses were fairly close
Edit: (if I did my math correctly)
Point differential in the 7 losses: 6.4
Point differential in the 8 wins: 16.5

I think the biggest thing that has really bugged me about this sub is how much of doomer you guys can be. Geniunely acting like Masai has no clue what’s going on, Fred completely sucks, etc.
It’s fine to criticize the team but it’s been bad. Sure we had a mediocre season, but so did the Wolves, warriors, lakers, clippers, Miami, Atlanta. It’s not supposed to make us feel better, but it happens in sports, you spoilt brats.
Some of those teams have mortgaged their futures far worse to be in a similar position as us. We still have a young team and there’s growing pains. The biggest issue is this team sucks at closing games. We have damn near 5 losses that are just completely inexcusable 4th quarter breakdowns.
This team is much better than their record, and everyone knows that except the idiots here.

Atlanta decided not to be the most mid team of all time when they felt us coming up on them

Holy shit we really went from bottom left to top right, what a glow up

Wow pelicans at #2 is amazing and surprising

The first 3 games of that stretch were losses and of the the remaining 12 we have 8 wins – ALL by double digits.
That should qualify as sense 😁

8 consecutive wins have been by double digits

We beat bad teams lose to good teams haha
KillPunchLoL
We still look very vulnerable and I wouldn’t gamble any money on us winning our play in games. We’re so inconsistent and this team completely collapses against any top tier opposition. The only thing we’ve done is beat up on weak teams. I don’t even feel confident we can beat the Bulls.

The end of the season can be wonky. You have to consider how valuable the data you read is.
