This seems like familiar news.
this is just sad at this point
He needs to lose 30-35 lbs to have a meaningful NBA career. It’s as simple as that.
Yeah that hammy is Louisiana chicken at this point
Not great, Bob
“The team” has been cautious is an interesting way to say it
Making it seems like Zion wants to push it
He’s a joke
He done
Borderline bust tbh despite how incredible of a player he is. I don’t see him having the discipline to lose weight.

Welp tried telling ya Zion apologists
Wonder how much sales he’s done in merch
I keep forgetting zion exists, which is kind of weird considering he’s a future MVP level talent
Zion’s supposed to be losing weight, yet every time I see him it looks like he’s gaining weight.. Dude lacks discipline
Zion Williamson is what yall think AD is
They should have just admitted he’ll be out for the season a long time ago instead of stringing fans along for months
Two months away from being two months away
Good for Lakers
Zion’s gonna dunk again at garbage time next season to whoever eliminated the Pels this play-offs/play-ins.
Time to put some chains around the fridge with a time release lock mechanism
Every time you say ham Zion gains another pound
Honestly I would trade him. Get return for him and let another FO deal with it.
The nail in the fucking coffin
If in case the Pelicans make it to the playoffs, will they allow him to play?
Hamstring strain and out for 3+ months doesn’t add up.
He should have the best medical and rehab facilities available to him.
I get a bad feeling this will continue to be an issue for Zion’s career.
I hope I’m wrong, but it feels inevitable he will be injury-prone.
Don’t matter we still flockin baby
At what point do you just give up as the pelicans front office
Like how long do you play this zion injury circus game until you move on
Because he certainly has immense value right now, still
But how long will he have this value? Like how much longer will you actually have the chance to cut your losses and get a big return on him? It might be unpopular but I’d move him this summer and reconstruct the roster, you’ve still got a ton of guys on there that you can be excited about and work with.
I’m tired boss
If they increase the ticket prices after all this bs, then Pels are deceitful scum. They stay doing these slow burn news releases when they already knew his status for a long time.
Didn’t DG literally say yesterday Zion is out indefinitely?
the way no one is suprised at this point
At this point, anyone who’s willing to offer him the max is an idiot.
While in reality the Pels don’t have nearly as much of a choice.
Gotta love the player empowerment age don’t you agree?
Dude needs ozempic
I’m shocked. No one could have seen this coming.
Lot’s of AD slander here, still played more games than Kawihi, PG, Durant and I think even Steph over the last 4 years…they don’t get nearly the flak for it.
Fucking trade his fat ass already
If the Pelicans get a chance to trade him, they need to make it happen
All this for a hamstring strain
Lol this guy….
So honestly: at what point do you lose sympathy for a player having so many injuries and start demanding results? Obviously, injuries suck but if I were a paying Pels fan, I’d sure as hell be angry that the player we spent a #1 pick on isn’t even present for 75% of the season.
How does a hamstring strain sideline a guy for this long?
I haven’t really been following Zion cause it seems like he will never get to a point where he can play consistently.
I know he sat out all last year.
What is going on with him now?
LOL 2019 NBA Draft revisited… YOU are a GM for either New Orleans or Memphis, you have a top two pick, HAVE to choose between made of glass Zion or crazy head Ja Morant…. and there’s no one else remotely close to that talent…. what do you do? what do YOU do???
So…. bust?
Zion is this decades Greg Oden at this point
Man, that food he’s obviously addicted to must be damn good to be throwing away a potential HOF career.
