Kyrie Irving Or Ray Allen: Who Hit The BIGGER Shot? 😤 | JJ Redick and Richard Jefferson Discuss

In this clip, JJ Redick and Richard Jefferson discuss the two biggest shots of the last 30 years… the Kyrie Irving shot over Stephen Curry in The 2016 NBA Finals between The Cleveland Cavaliers and The Golden State Warriors OR Ray Allen’s shot over The Spurs in The 2013 NBA Finals between The Miami Heat and The Cleveland Cavaliers?

  1. Game 7 of the finals against a 73 win team, with the league mvp guarding you

  2. I feel like if Ray doesn’t hit that the Lebron goat convo doesn’t really have weight until he gets that second ring. We’d hold Lebron to a different stance as far who’s better him or mike.

  3. Nah RJ gotta disagree, Rays shot is the better AND "Biggest" shot, dude caught the pass from an offensive rebound, then back pedaled which a defender closing in on him, and had the sense of the floor to know where the three point line was without looking and nailed n that back pedaling 3 to save the series. Imo not close

  4. Ray Allen cmon now, the security literally had the stadium ready for a championship celebration for the spurs 😂😂😂, if Kyrie misses there is way more room for mess up.

  5. incorrect RJ, nobody scored for like 5 minutes int hat 89-89 tie in game 7. curry got owned

  6. Kawhi's shot with the Raps is up there too, but it wasn't a Finals shot. Its like, I get it you know.

  7. The kyrie shot only happens because of lebrons clutch block. That game is about the block not the shot

  8. I need this RJ part two but I want to see y’all just have a duke vs ASU beef debate 😂😂🫡🔥

  9. The 2 of the greatest shooters in history and the entire cavs roster couldn’t hit a shot for almost 3 minutes against the 73-9 warriors down 3-1 what are we debating here? The heat were supposed to beat the spurs no one thought the warriors would lose to the cavs

  10. Kyrie's shot is a nothingburger, dribble and shot in a tie game. If he misses they're still guaranteed another possession. It was a freebie shot.

  11. This clip. This one. Made me like RJ. I thought he was a goofy. Naw…buddy just has to be corny on ESPN.

  12. He always bring up kerr n paxson to discredit Jordan 😂 them were games 6 like he said with the bulls already up 3 to 2

  13. RJ was right about pretty much everything with Knicks fans, but he got one thing wrong the nets could’ve kept KD and Kyrie and won multiple championships and they’d still be number 2 to the Knicks that’s just how it is. We hate them but we love them that’s how NY sports is

  14. This is great content, these guys have great chemistry like the 2013-2014 spurs.

  15. How is a shot without the outcome of the game riding on it at all with almost a minute the second biggest shot ever? lol RJ. Like how? It was a big shot but like there's just a defensive possession left if he misses it with overtime if they don't score again. With bigger plays happening just before and just after it when you consider Kevin Love's title winning D on Steph who by all rights had a total mismatch on him. Kyrie's shot was a big make but when people talk about it this way it's very clearly the most overrated hyped shot in NBA history. It wasn't even a game winning shot cuz Bron scored after that. It's bigger than MJ winning an actual title? It's bigger than Steve Kerr winning a title on a shot? It's bigger than Paxon winning a title on a shot with 4 seconds left?? It's bigger than Kerr winning a title with 4 seconds left for the Bulls?

Dude is paid to talk about basketball, spent his entire life playing and repeats this BS ignorant narrative about Kyrie cuz he hit a pull up against a mediocre defender without the game on the line. But the reasoning for Ray's shot is "cuz the game is going to be over if he doesn't make it." But if Kyrie doesn't hit it there's a minute to play and the game is tied. It's just intellectually so dramatically lazy. Dude was in the game and somehow still rewrites the events to fit a false narrative that was primarily only boosted to take LeBron down. Should be ashamed of himself.

Also love JJ 'n the podcast but boo on him too for not calling out the obvious shilling BS.
