Still love Luke, but I swear he said something like “my other teams wanted me to shoot it, but these guys really get on me”
I’m not sure he understands the terms of the 40+ million dollars we promised him.
Because we have a glut of guards he doesn’t see time, more time = more made 3s, the tradeoff being his defense.
Honestly he was on a tear early in the season and basically forced himself into our rotation, then he got hurt and got passive and was squeezed out. When he came back Norm was starting to roll and Mann has to be in the rotation plus with pg playing the 2 our shooting guard rotation was full. Then we needed “playmaking” which is why Wall stuck around so long and Reggie played over him because he would shoot even when he was slumping.
Kennard didn’t work because we had to many guards, now if he was 5 inches taller I’d switch him with Mook no question.
