I think a one page essay could be written on how bad the trade deadline could set this franchise back over the next couple of years. Bottom line 90% of gms would get fired for being that stupid y’all need to focus on the real problems.
That was horrific. We played worse than a high school team. Everyone is to blame , our bench is non existent, our starters are worn out and not consistent offensively, it’s like we just gave up. I don’t see us getting past Chicago honestly.
vanvleet is completely overrated and overpayed however he is a leader and really respect that he speaks to the media after all of these horrible losses, siakam on the other hand only speaks to them when they win or when he plays well. HE IS SOFT AF. Both need to go this summer.
Next season I hope Banton gets more opportunities. I like his game play. He has IQ, quick and his catch and shoot has improved so much. He needs minutes.
I suspected that nick and Fred are the main reason why we have such a bad flow, team chemistry… being around with a coach like nick and a leader like Fred.. it s very unhealthy.
Not that I would know anything that happens behind closed doors when cameras aren’t filming… but it looks as though everyone in the organization (coaches & players) is phoning it in. Especially after NN comments about evaluating his time after the season is done. Seems like none of the players want to put in any work for a coach that’s gonna bounce, and I don’t really blame the players for taking that attitude
FVV has leadership skills as is shown here; so sorry that he did not champion the team this season successfully. It is not over yet; we still in the play in; and hopefully Raptors show its fighting spirit in the play in game and beyond.
Player and coach trying to explain away this loss is just embarrassing. They should simply be pissed and that’s it…nothing but word sale at this point.
Opportunity next week for what Fred???? Another opportunity to loose. You don’t play well against good teams like Celtic, Bucks, Grizzlies etc. if you can’t play well against those teams , why even try for the playoffs???😢
This isn’t meant as a dig, but when you have more undrafted players and G leaguers than ones that come through the ranks, this is what you get. We have a really good group of guys, but if we want to win, we need to be ruthless.
