Dang man. I’ll say this, while watching the grizzlies versus warriors matchup in the playoffs last year, he was legit a problem. I felt like Steven Adams time was pretty much up and that he wouldn’t be a factor. I was completely wrong. That man contributed so much to that team and that serious. Huge loss for the grizzlies right now
This team goes through Ja, but Ja is only himself when Steve is on the court with him.
Ja with Steve is a first team all NBA level player.
Ja without Steve is barely an average volume shooter and decent to good distributor.
I fully expect Ja to improve his game to get past needing such a crutch but it hasn’t happened yet.
They have no hope in the playoffs. A lucky matchup might win a series at best. But it could easily be a disaster. First round sweep tier disaster. Just how it goes sometimes.
That might be it for this year’s Grizz. Just an absurd amount of bad luck.
It’s over for us then. It will be an accomplishment just to make it out of the first round. I bet we don’t even win 2 games in the playoffs.
