Did The starters slow down
Jokic has done all he can the last few weeks to sabotage any chance for a historic 3 peat of the MVP and maybe its just me but I expect to see more effort and leadership from my best player when he's played!? Great show considering the result and I pray we see the old Nuggets come the playoffs!
Jokic gave up the MVP when he realized that it became a dirty stinky Pile of Crap created by united "the worst of the worse" filthy Rats of the NBA & Media (((Corporation)))…when you wrestle with Pigs, all become muddy/dirty, but the Pigs actually enjoy it. Jok does not, so he just skipped the Party. Confirming his Words that he never cared about it, along the Way.
Jokic is like any brilliant savant. Take De Niro. He may not give you what you want or think he should, away from a set. He's downright frustrating in interviews, for example, because he doesn't give two fucks what you think of him or whether what he says is interesting. But when that camera is turned on (i.e. when the playoffs begin), there's no questioning anything (okay, vintage De Niro, not "last 20 years" De Niro.) The point is, Jokic has earned the right to have his process, a process that the common man like you and me find frustrating but without his way of doing things you suddenly don't have Jokic, you have some putz like, I don't know, Embiid (joking)

btw 1st quarter is exactly how 1st playoff quarter gonna look like, this team can't switch off/on, they can't help themselves…betting on the play-in team for game 1
Now you have to pray for easy 1st round, because they will basically have to learn how to defend again, I mean offense will take them 1-2 quarters to be at 90% and they can pick up from there, but brace for how the defense gonna look, they will start trying and realize, hey we didn't do this for 2 months, nobody knows what to actually do when we play at 100%, and since they aren't good defensive team in the first place, I think it's gonna take the whole series…that's at least my theory on sports, you can maintain high level by doing stuff once a weak, that is if you have been doing that stuff for your whole life and you ramped up to that level by pushing yourself for a period of time. Nuggets defense improved, they showed they can do it, and then totally gave up on it for 2 months (it will month and 1/2 when they play off start), I think there's no way they don't start from almost 0…
If Nuggets lose 1st round this will be an epic collapse and the mismanagement of end of season will leave Malone jobless. They win and they are geniuses.
