Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s final 2022-2023 stats: 31.4 PPG, 5.5 APG, 4.8 RPG, 1.6 SPG , 1.0 BPG 51.0 FG%, 34.5 3PT%, 90.5 FT% 68 GP

He’ll become the 3rd different 30 PPG scorer in Thunder history joining Russell Westbrook & Kevin Durant.

ELITE player.

Let the All-NBA placement debate begin.

  2. Magnet5150

    Didn’t ask + ratio

edit: Shai has stupid clothes and his rapping sucks

edit 2: IM A FUCKING CHAMPION BOW DOWN TO ME

  3. EarthWarping

I think he’ll get the first team guard spot.

  4. FERFreak731

If Lauri didn’t go from a role player catch and shoot player to an All Star Starter, Shai would’ve won the Most Improved Player award

Dude is so good. I’m really stoked I got to see him at *Staples Center*(I refuse to call it that other abomination of name) a couple weeks ago.

What a stud. So excited for the future of Canadian hoops.

  7. urasmisis

would love to see him up his assist and rebound game to become a fully fleshed out player.

  8. Butt_Dickiss

Bro went ham on us warriors last game, much respect

  9. No-Ice-6693

Only 58 Three pointers made this season btw

  10. No-Ice-6693

Shai changed his play style for the greater good

  11. Budget_Trip422

He’s gonna win an MVP before it’s all said and done

  12. UnderstandingThis

He was so impressive this season, especially his ability to get to the rim.

  13. BouttaBlowUp

Bringing them what Westbrook and Durant never could. A Play-Ins Tournament banner.

  14. Important_Tailor8909

2.6 stocks on top of 31 ppg is insane

  15. Nuggetsbecrispy

First player in NBA history to average 90% on 10 FT attempts I believe

  16. Dry_Masterpiece9741

Too early in the season to say if this is legit or not.

  17. great-nba-comment

Anyone who doesn’t think this dude is All-NBA 1st this year is clownshoes

  18. girlscoutcookies05

38 wins shouldn’t be getting 1st team. Im sorry. Bro might even miss the entire playoffs 😭

  19. jobeeeeeeem

Great FT shooter almost 91% and he get his 31.4ppg probably almost half from there. Didn’t shoot much 3..

  20. ClutchGamingGuy

players can put up high counting stats on bad teams. but if you go through the last decade’s 30 point scorers, its mostly on contenders with Beal being the biggest outlier. not to mention the fact Shai is absurdly efficient even on extremely high volume, and is a legit 2-way player.

  21. YurtlesTurdles

Dude should be 1st team. He could be in the 5-8 range on the mvp ladder. He was incredible this year.

  22. The-Pharcyde

Straight beast of a season. My guy better be first team.

  23. Much_Conversation_11

I think (this is purely just based off the fact that I think many voters don’t think that deeply into this) he’s going to be second team. I think he deserves first based off stats/GP/team result being better than expected

  24. IRanOutOf_Names

Unironically might be the easiest lock for 1st team gaurds. Not saying he’s better than Luka, but with the discourse about Luka’s defense and him missing the playoffs (granted Shai is literally one place higher) I woulndn’t be shocked if he got the most 1st team votes.

  25. Aladdins_Camel

These stats are near identical to Kobe’s 2006/07 season, definitely All-NBA he’s probably even 1st team.

  26. GuyIsAdoptus

pretty sure he is the first player in NBA history to have 50% FG and 90% FT, but NOT have 40% 3P. Random weird fact I thought was interesting.

  27. nashty2004

his team is ass; you shouldn’t be 1st team All NBA if your team is ass

  28. enorolas

Traded him + picks for PG13. Worst trade in NBA History.
