Boston Celtics wrap up regular season with two fun wins



The Celtics won their 56th and 57th games this weekend with wins over Toronto and Atlanta to close out the regular season with a bit of fun. Sam Hauser dunks highlighted one game, then a Payton Pritchard triple-double punctuated the second.     Proud of the "Bus 1 Crew". They first showed us what they're made of when they forced the Bucks into OT on Valentine's when we were missing 4 starters (and Rob played limited mins so really down 4-1/2 starters).

    I'm a very upset today, I played a multi last night on the game ( parley I think you guys call it )

    Hauser to score 25points or more
    Pritchard to score 30 points or more
    Hunter to score 20 points or more
    Hunter to get 6 rebounds or more

    Hawks decided not to play Hunter in the 2nd half, he was 3R and 14P

    My odds were 1850-1

    So because they decided to rest Hunter I missed out on $18,500

    It's a cruel game

    Important thing to note about JT’s minutes being nearly identical to last season’s…

    Following his (relatively) disastrous performance in last year’s finals, JT decided to prioritize his durability and recovery. For instance, he took his nutrition more seriously this season; he even hired a chef.

    Let’s hope JT’s improvements did the trick and he doesn’t burn out this postseason🤞🏼

    I'm just happy! I don't even want to dissect. I did like what I saw from our new guy. He showed he can play in the paint, he hit a three, and he demonstrated team play! Only his second game with the Celtics, and looked comfortable. Let's Go and get this Championship!

    John, I think you’re right about the role players. It’s great to have them all but it’s not where we hope to end up when it matters most.. that’s actually been my biggest fear for this Celtics roster this season. With all the extra help, I don’t want to see our core guys gas themselves out , or wait till we’re behind 12 in the 4th and they’re being completely locked down on D , Don’t wait till then to chuck it to Brogdon or White like “DO SOMETHING!” don’t wait till it’s too late

    So freaking enjoyable and an added bonus that Pritchard and Hauser got a ton of playing time. Not to jinx anything but with injuries, it’s always good to have guys ready to go. Thanks for all your hard work during the regular season John-you brought us the best content and I know you sacrificed a lot of sleep! And Tom is the perfect Kenny to your Shaq. Now let’s go and get Banner fcking 18! ☘️🙏🏻🔒
