D’Angelo Russell on playing the Timberwolves in the Play-In: “It’s not the fact that they traded me, but the fact that they’re in the way of what we’re trying to get done, that’s all that really matters to me. Trying to start to prepare mentally right now.”

The fact that Dlo, Vando, and Beasley used to be on that team is an advantage in of itself. They might know specific player tendencies and other unseen things that can be exploited.

Minnesota lost DLo, Vandy, and Beasley to us

Very mature D Lo. We can clearly see it didnā€™t rub off on those guys over there.

Iā€™m so happy Dā€™Lo is back bro. The amount of fucking college and high school film I watched on this guy trying to hype myself up on him before the draft, I swear Iā€™ve watched every video on YouTube there is lmao.

Letā€™s go get BI back next! Lol

If anything, Minnesota did him a solid sending him back here.

And that’s why DLo has had so much success. He’s focused on getting the job done, no distractions.

I like this answer. The whole “im mad the team traded me even though I prefer my new location” has always been kind of narcissistic to me lol

If we lose this one trade lebron please šŸ™

    Itā€™s time to rebuild

  9. Why do we still have to play them šŸ˜ i wish being 7th right now is enough

Winning mindset, thats what we need from him, time to see if what everyone says about him come the playoffs is true or not for us

Thatā€™s what a potential max contract sound like. Is he really worth $30 million a year for 4 or 5 years?

Proper mindset by D.Lo. No need to take it personal like Pat Bev and Westbrook did. He didnā€™t fit with what that team wanted to do and he likely wouldnā€™t have signed back there anyway so itā€™s better for both parties to move on. Having a championship mindset moving forward is what everybody in the locker room needs.

I mean the Lakers traded him too so it’s a wash.
