Depends on where it lands, but they’re one of the few teams a Pascal trade makes sense for.
That’s kinda surprising. Feel like Miller would fit really well with that team.
Don’t fuck around Masai
Simmons/Sharpe/Pick (if outside of the top 4) for Siakam?
Is Siakam for Sharpe and their 2023 1st reasonable?
Sharpe + salary filler with the 5th & knicks pick for siakam ? Absolutely.
Is it possible to trade the pick prior to the lottery? If so that’s how you maximize its value because if it ends up outside of top 3 it’s not worth a lot.
Sharpe, Simons and their pick for our pick and Siakam
Not sure I’d be thrilled with trading yet another Raptors All-Time great but this wouldn’t be a bad option
I think several teams could trade their picks if they don’t hit #1 for an upgrade to more experienced players that can help give them a boost now including Portland, Detroit, Orlando, Houston. Indiana, and Washington, plus pelicans and OKC from the play in group.
I’ve been hurt before by hyping myself up for deals that never actually seemed to have ever been on the table. So I won’t do it this time. RIP. We’re moving forward with this core and it makes me sad 🥲
Scoot and Wemby are the only big prospects this year. Would rather go for a Young NBA player like Simon’s over trading Pascal for the 5th pick this year
Simons+that pick+something else (other than Sharpe cause they won’t give him up) for Siakam would be a deal we should pursue.
I think by trading our first next year I don’t see masai doing crazy sell moves, it just contradicts us trading away our pick in 2024. Seems like competing is what the management wants to do.
That being said I personally wish we would make a move for this pick and sell this team
