I don’t think it’s the timberwolves I think it’s gobert whos embarrasing

MIN, CLT, ORL, and SAC (depending on what happens in their first round series) are all more embarrassing

the wizards haven’t had the assets for a big trade, so at least a big trade will never blow up in their face.

I’m more mad at the timing, because the Lakers about to walk into a spot now.

POR is the West Coast version of us. I’ve gone into length about this in other threads, and I believe The Athletic had a feature recently about how WAS and POR are executing the same questionable strategy.
ORL has been awful for a decade, and should be utterly embarrassed at the amount of high lottery picks they have blown.
DET has one winning season since Flip Saunders left, and have an abysmal track record in the draft. I would be seriously bummed if Wemby ends up with that trash can of an organization.
All that being said, HOU post-Morey is far and away the most embarrassing organization in the NBA. Letting fat-Harden embarrass them by intentionally playing poorly before the trade. The constant clown-show that is their owner. How they allowed their mediocre young players to ignore and disrespect their coach all season, and then they threw Silas under the bus at the end of the year as the scapegoat.

I think the Wizards are embarrassing like failing a test the rest of the class passed while the Timberwolves are arguing in a restaurant while your children tear the art off the walls

Atleast they made the play in, and they have Ant.

The Wizards aren’t really “embarrassing”. Since the Gilbert gun debacle there hasn’t been anything that really put the spotlight on them in a negative way. They’re just complete non-entities in the story of the league. A lot of teams have had lower lows than the Wizards, but almost everyone also has a higher high.

Gobert making the Papelbon trade look a little better

No cuz we would never be in a position to make that trade to begin with.
We’ve never had more than 1 traceable asset and usually we’re loaded with several non traceable ones if we do.
Can’t trade 4 FRPs and 4 solid players when you don’t and have never had them lmao.
We suck so much at stacking assets it hurtsz

The Gobert trade is bad, but I’d argue Anthony Edwards and KAT have more promise and upside then anybody on the Wizards. Like if we were picking between our two teams, I’d take them before I’d take any Wizard.
