You do know Anfernee Simons or Nassir Little would need to be included in the deal to fill out salary, right?

I’m not a fan of trading Anunoby and I’d prefer having him/Barnes together but it’s not like we’d be straight up trading him for Jarace Walker or a Thompson twin.

This meme/argument is so tiring when people don’t realize the value of having a good rotation player (or possibly better) on a ROOKIE CONTRACT. Among whatever else you get in return. The clock on OG being an amazing asset is ticking.

This sub obsession with being so attached to players who would leave in instant in free agency if a team offered them more money

    Og doesnā€™t care about you

41-41 Iā€™m sure some people wanna this same team back lol

It could also be someone who can dribble without falling over 50% of the time! Imagine that!

This meme would honestly make more sense with Pascal yet people are more willing to give him up than OG lol

You could be shit posting. But the people that use that phrase earnestly, its real tell me you don’t know ball without telling me you don’t know ball stuff

Iā€™d rather trade pascal instead of OG, just because he plays better with Scottie. Pascal is worth a haul

I think it’s important to realize that this isn’t at all how the front office looks at it. From what we think we know, they weren’t interested in trading OG last year for just the 7th pick… they were interested in trading him for a particular guy: Mathurin. And when Mathurin wasn’t available, they pulled out. Mathurin’s performance this year shows their read on lottery talent is still really good.

Likely this is the reason they weren’t aggressively interested in trading OG at the deadline. They aren’t interested in the mystery box: who knows where a draft pick ends up, and who’s available? Draft night is a whole different situation, though: they’ll be evaluating an OG trade against what prospects actually end up being available with the draft picks that are on the trading block.

If he is almost OG level first yr then it’s a given. Which means he will become better than OG.
