After Luka said they wouldn't shut it down, Dallas shut it down. They made him a liar, on a night celebrating his home country. These are the kind of things that stick to a young man's memory.

Warriors' 11-30 road record = load management on their part. Didn't care to play D on the road. Kept them fresh. Let Wiggins load manage on his own for 2 months.
The more I'm looking at my Clippers, the more I'm starting to like our chances. The most important thing is no expectations on us to win our series against Phoenix. Everyone is counting us out. Beyond the top 4, we do have the better team. Suns are extremely thin beyond their starters.

CP3 > Russ
Ayton > Zubac
The gap isn't huge between all of them except when we get bad Russ who is the polar opposite to Point God when taking care of the ball.
Who do the Suns really have on their bench? Terrence Ross? Landry Shamet? TJ Warren? What ever happened to Cam Payne? Losing Mikal Bridges was huge.
I like the rest of our roster better from top to bottom. As a whole, Batum, Mann, Gordon, Hyland, Morris, Covington, and Plumlee are better than the Suns' 5th through 12th best players.
I like Ty Lue over Monty Williams who irked Ayton and Crowder the wrong way. The latter is now on the best team and the title favorites. If one of the Suns' top 4 goes down with an injury, I'll start loving our chances some more.
Clippers match up well against the Suns only because the Suns aren't very tall unlike Denver and Milwaukee. We have a deep bench and they don't. We have the better coach. NO EXPECTATIONS on the Clippers is the thing. When nobody is looking and everyone is doubting us, the Clippers can surprise.
Now if we beat the Suns, it doesn't mean I think we will win it all. I doubt we'll get by Denver even if PG returns by then. We're too small and have nobody to stop Jokić and MPJ draining threes. But for this series against the Suns, I will no longer be too shocked if we pull off the upset.

Maybe I'm wrong, but great NBA players from overseas / international like Luka (5 years with Mavs) don't really play for multiple teams. Giannis (10 years with Bucks), Jokic (8 years with the Nuggets). Embid (7 years with the 76ers). Even historically Dirk (20 years with Mavs), Ginobli (16 years with Spurs).
