Controversially I think the only option Mavs can go in is all in on Kyrie. I say this because they can’t win together, they have a similar level of production and I question any trade value kyrie has. The only way they might be able to salvage this is to re-sign kyrie then trade Luka because you’d likely get massive compensation for him that you wouldn’t for Kyrie. It would be ridiculous if that did happen and would make the franchise a laughing stock, but I don’t see how you can keep these two ball dominant, defensively light players, who’d both command top dollar.

This never mattered. Kyrie was always going yo leave wherever he was and go to the Lakers. This being such a disaster makes it easier for him to do that. Who's gonna blame him for not staying in Dallas?

They are going to that number for Kyrie. It’s a good deal as the CBA expires soon and if Kyrie was a FA in the new CBA deal it would be even more.
