    GM Nico Harrison is as incompetent, inept – as a politician — he has buried the organization – go ahead give Kyrie a max long term contract – lol – see how many games he won't play in once the ink is dry –

    What I really hate about dallas this years is coaching in last minute or last action. They took time out and need a basket to win. Always same action. It was not even action. Just give luka ball and that is it.

    This is 100% on the management. I love Kai but damn man, how did we lose Brunson, DFS and Dinwiddie in one year? Three key players. All we had to do was add a big who can protect the paint/get offensive rebounds. We were one Capela/Looney type away from making the Finals, imo. Now we have to start all over again.

    I really want to sim the Mavs in 2K with the focus on offensive rebounds and defense. I'd love to see what we could do with Luka if he got 2nd and 3rd attempt chances.

    I hope they are not so cavalier in the offseason as they were last year when they needed to get a third ball handler/shot creator. "Oh Frank can do that, Josh can learn to be the point guard". Their hubris has led them to over-exert Luka early in the season and to decimate their lineup and risk Kyrie leaving altogether

    One thing I like about Nico – regardless if he makes brilliant or stupid moves – is that he has the balls and ability to do so compared with other GMs. After being criticized for not surrounding Lebron with good players after their bubble championship, Palinka's trades during the 2nd half of the season has transformed the Lakers from the same spot as the Mavs are now (outside of the play-in) into a West-contending playoff team. The only untradeable players at this point should be Luka, Hardy (for potential) and Josh (for defense, jack-of-all trades)

    I don't think he ripped on Wood as much as y'all seem to, and I definitely don't think he backed Kidd as much as y'all seem to think he did.

    I think they tried to address those weaknesses last off season however Mcgee and Wood experiment did not work for the Mavs. He pointed out that Wood is an efficient scorer but clearly he cannot defend stronger bigger or quicker bigs.

    I’ll never forgive Kidd for not playing or starting Luka, Ky, Green, Wood, McGee more our best lineup would’ve done damage!

    Kyrie is a free man. That hurts people's feelings and, of course, the corporate mindset of the NBA. He was right about the jabs. He fought for his right to chose and was demonise for it. He is an example in many ways.

    Hardy can’t be thrown under the bus though… He had a really good rookie season and is an absolute steal.
    I hope he gets more minutes next season because he is flying under the radar as a potential star in the league.
