It would be a MIRACLE if the pistons get the 1st overall pick. I bet they won’t because the league will give it to a franchise that’ll create better TV ratings or something from getting Victor. But I’m still gonna be hopeful

Frankly, I do not understand how a once proud championship organization has become such a pathetically operated organization. Why is it that the Lakers, Celtics and the such, continue putting teams together but the Pistons remain a one and done group of players, coaches and owners. I'll throw the Tigers into this post too.
This season was a success.
The team stunk with cade. His injury was a built in excuse for them to underachieved again. And they not winning ish next season.
Only impatient fans put him in the hot seat, which means absolutely nothing. Troy has the trust of Tom Gores. The people that actually know what's going on understand that Troy is trying to collect draft assets, PERIOD. He wants young talent on this team so that he has future trade assets. Troy is on the COLD seat in the eyes of people that actually matter. There's no need for Troy to rush the process just to please angry fans. Troy has his own timeline for this rebuild and it's not his fault fans are pissed from what happened the last 10 years. When the Pistons are finally good it's because of Troy, and the same people complaining now will be thanking him in the future. I guarantee!!!

I’m disappointed, but I’m not mad. Cade getting injured for the season Game 14 was a huge blow and you cannot expect to go to the playoffs that year. Id be disappointed if they ended up with a worse pick haha

You have to trust the "process". Look at Lions and the bounce back. It did not come overnight. The Lions owners were patient. Patience is needed just like the same with the Red Wings. I can't stress it enough. Cutting corners won't do it. It's a painful rebuild but you have to build the right way and Troy weaver is doing just that. You'd have to be a fool to be angry. The pieces are there but Cade injury is out of anyone's control. I trust Troy. Be patient

There’s a 60% chance we end up with the 4th or 5th pick and a 40% chance we end up somewhere 1-3 pick. That is terrifying. Everyone start praying.
