I like the young thunder but I’m surprised at the Pelicans. They have a pretty good squad. I felt like the pelicans could compete with anyone on any given night but if I’m management this upcoming season is the last season I pay a player to sit on the bench and play when he wants. If he does not show the commitment to his body and craft it’s time to move on and keep building around BI
The pelicans lost when they moved away from Valentunas inside game. They were getting everything they wanted.
When they reverted to a more outside heavy set…it threw them out of rhythm. They were trying to hit threes inside of the reliable 2. Especially when they were in the bonus for multiple minutes. They resorted to long and mid range contested shots. Odd.
I am so impressed by the OKC Thunder! SGA literally does what he wants with pace, always taking the best open shot, creating his own or passing to the open man. Giddey is very versatile, so many shooters on the team! This team is very dynamic it is amazing and fun to watch! I love this thunder team!
