I liked the national broadcast, just didn't like going to the Jiu-Jitsu coach 20 times.
Bob is cool, Dominique is the worst color commentator in the league. Unless you're old and just like Dominique, he offers no type of critical analysis of the game. Doesn't talk about what offense or defense the opponents are running, what the Hawks are doing schematically, just nothing of substance when it comes to the game…… Stacy King, Richard Jefferson, are just so good, even older players like Clyde Frazier, Calvin Murphy, or Dell Curry, are better.
Also, is Kyle Lowry any more of a Foul Grifter than Trae or Jimmy Butler? It's just that Kyle also tries to foul grift on defense.
Also Tyler you're tripping if you think Jimmy and Bam are a better 1 and 2 only because they get more national TV games. 1st They are by far better on the defensive end and rebounding. Trae is the better passer, but Jimmy and Bam are also offensively more efficient than Trae and DJ. Yes, the rest of the roster is more talented, but Bam and Jimmy are the clear better 1 and 2.
Of course their bread and butter is the three point shooting but keep tipping passes and their flow will feel off. Don’t even have to be a steal, just get them out of flow.
Mr. Jones is spot on about JJ he adds an element of open-court Athleticism that teams just didn't have to worry about vs the Hawks since the old Josh Smith Days.
Nobody ran the floor like Josh, he made you hold your breath when he got the ball in the open court he was special in that way. Along with the, chase-down blocks.
So yeah Jalen brings a physicality also, and his ability to push the ball and make timely passes it catches team's off guard all the time.
When Trae passed him the ball ahead and instead of getting a charge he stopped short and through the ally to Okungwu.. The look on Bam and the Heat's faces was like damn I didn't know he had that in his game.
So yeah I think JJ, Bey, and Bogi are the X factors for the Hawks. If those 3 have continue to have impacts more times than not moving forward the Hawks will upset a lot of teams. In this postseason.
