In the third day of previewing the Nets-Sixers playoff series, the Locked on Nets guys take a look at Tyrese Maxey and what he brings to the table for Philadelphia. They discuss how his role changes with James Harden on or off and the court and what Brooklyn needs to look out for on both offense and defense.
They look into some of the advance stats of Maxey’s season and how the Nets need to make sure he is held relatively in check within the scope of Philly’s plan.

We need Dorian to hit his shots and we will be fine
If we are being honest Tyrese is a third scoring option. But defensively he's not the strongest and Brooklyn should not hesitate to go at him or especially James harden to score in the interior…
Dorian Finney Smith and Nic Claxton are definitely going to play key roles on the defensive structure Brooklyn implements….
Now pj tucker is one of the best defenders in the last decade but this season hasn't been his best and he's getting towards the end of his career. Brooklyn should not let him body up on them and instead find ways to use their athleticism to get around him.
The biggest key for Brooklyn is playing assertive strong defense wearing down the 76er and increasing their pace of play on offense. Finding that balance will be the biggest key….
I like maxey but why would we need him when we can get hood-schifino or Kobe bufkin or even dariq whitehead if he falls to us
