Shoutout to Zach Lavine for last night’s 39 point performance. Diar was MVP but, Zach took over that game like a true superstar and put the Bulls on his back. He played like a man possessed and it was a masterful display of elite offense and pure heart. On to Miami!

I’m just here to remind everyone that plenty people (not me of course) in this sub wanted to trade zach for og anunoby 😂🤣.

I’ve watched his whole tenure here and last night was truly one of the best games I’ve ever seen him play. He looked like he kicked into another gear that I’ve never really seen from him

Really feels like last night was a different Zach. He was the guy when we needed him, played with attitude and just took over. Dude was not gonna let us lose that game and his effort on D is worth mentioning too. Keep that attitude for Miami, let’s make some noise.

Happy for LaVine you can tell he puts in the work to improve and is never satisfied. Even compared just to last year I feel like his driving and vision/playmaking is noticeably better

I for one am happy to eat two huge slices of humble pie for shitting on ZL all season

Thing is, he’s still not in tiptop form after his surgery. He’s sliding and gliding on the ground, yes, but he’s not quite yet back making those moves effortlessly in the air. We will lose our minds when he makes a dunk from the free throw line, ball through the legs, slam and one. Then we can say he’s all the way back.

Dudes in the game thread were calling him the worst max guy in the league at half time.

Can’t believe after all his years in Chicago, he still gets disrespected. Everyone knows what he can do when he’s healthy but nobody wanted to wait until he got his legs back underneath him smh

I’ve been a Zach doubter for awhile (including when he took that inexplicable 3 when we were up 3 with like 20 seconds on the shot clock with a minute left in an elimination game) but I gotta praise him for correctly recognizing when Toronto started playing scared and seizing the moment. Also realizing it was on him to put the team on his back and stay in attack mode. Need more of that every game

Yea Diar is honestly taking away the spotlight from Zach. What she did was hilarious but Zach as you said played like a true superstar last night. Prob the best game of his career

There was a moment when he was shooting free throws and he looked MEAN and I loved it. Never seen that look before from him

  11. He might’ve earned his 200M$ contract in bulls fans eyes with that performance last night. Dude was mf locked in!

Best I’ve seen him play since we added DeMar. I think that move has made it tough on Zach at times to tap into his inner scorer, but we saw it tonight in the 2nd half and he was an absolute killer. What I like most is that he did it with relentless drives to the rim.

This is why it was important to compete this year instead of throwing in the towel. You gotta see what your guys are capable of when the lights are brightest. You gotta let them get used to that feeling. I hope we can make it past Miami, but even if not, I think this was a big game for Zach and our team’s development. The young guys need to know what postseason basketball is like.

He also worked hard on D and was very engaged on that end especially in the 3rd/4th. Was super happy to see it.

Lavine still needs to learn the situation and take better shots. 5 second possessions with him taking fadeaway threes need to stop

He’s gotta be the man if this team has any shot on Friday. Demar needs to take a step back and let him be the Alpha.

I wish Lonzo had used Zach’s surgeon.
