Off the bench may lessen his defensive assignment which would probably be good for him while ramping up.
Expected the bench role given the absence length & how well Donte has played in his place.
Gives him more freedom to find his shot and rhythm, and a solid (but not Fox level) defensive task in guarding Monk.
Definitely think the Kings would have game-planned to clog the paint with him, Loon and Dray out there and make him a jump shooter until he proved he was effective/efficient.
I don’t expect 17 point wiggs just yet but his presence will very much help defensively.
