The more I look at them the more I feel like any on/off numbers are mostly useless unless they’re paired with a thesis paper’s worth of context.
Same goes for any stat that claims to tell you “defensive impact”.
To really get an idea of what an individual player does you’d need something like like PFF where a human just watches everything a player does each play and grades them.
