But, I do think that this is being spun to be a bigger story by the media (who get paid on engagement and clicks) than it is in reality. Did the FO dislike it, sure. Did the players, of course. But these type of tensions happen in any sort of workplace, especially when you’ve been there for so long.
I do think he’s gone this off-season or next. But I don’t think the FO or players are at Nick’s throat about this

Nothing wrong with Nurse’s comments, he was being honest. Take some time to reassess seems perfectly logical. Maybe he could’ve said “I’m just focused on the team right now” or something and deflected the question, but I’m not mad at him for what he said. It’s not like he ripped the city or organization. But the organization ripping into Nurse definitely doesn’t help in making Nurse want to stay here

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but this whole debacle stinks of Klutch Sports. Leaks that Silas was crying post games, rumors of him getting fired, talking about replacements before the deed is even done (Nurse being one of them). Then Nurse unprompted talks about his contract situation while this is all going on. It wouldnt surprise me if some maneuvering is happening behind the scenes.
