I’m not saying russ is a better player than KD or ever was, but the percentage of wins differential take is way too reductive.. Russ had no one in OKC and KD went to a team with 3 all-stars. And people weren’t talking about Russ’s flaws over his MVP year?? Every time Russ’s name came out of Colin’s mouth, he would have criticism for him lmao. This was such an unnecessary take. Yes Lebron and KD are better than russ but I think that’s agreed by everyone at this point.
He should compare Kawhi vs Kd win percentage. These are the 2 to compare both have 2 rings and 2 finals MVP. Won in 2 different ways and 2 different levels of difficulties.
The real argument is saying Westbrook doesn’t contribute to winning basketball when those OKC days they winning every season barring injury 50+ going to 4 conference finals and 1 finals with him in some of those seasons 1A 1B because of his relentless mentality. Russ gets injury KD wins mvp.. but gets smoked by Memphis. Didn’t KD just get swept with Kyrie.
Can I counter argue his poiints are invalid if Bron is great n can win with Kyrie and KD is great n he can win with Russ. But both can’t find the success swapping partners. Smh
