  1. Couldn’t agree more. Kuminga has been awesome this season (adjusted for age and experience).
As wiggins was last season, JK could be the key to our Championship chances.

DDV is great but hard agree. Having either kuminga or Wiggins on the floor at all times for defense is a luxury other teams don’t have and seems like recipe for another championship.

Also having 4 plus defenders on the court with JP for all of his minutes will negate his downside.

Huge pass. There’s not a single lineup that Steph and Kuminga work well together. Would prefer to minimalize his time on the court with Steph as much as possible.

He still has issues with positioning, court vision, and finding spots. But athletically, he could definitely feast on that defense.

Donte will play in the starting lineup. Kerr doesn’t trust Kuminga enough yet.

Imagine how much experience he gains guarding the best of the best. He will be a beast.

Watch kerr give Lamb more minutes than Curry

Too thirsty for “the leap” from Kuminga. DDV or Wiggs will start. It’s about spacing and decision making. Dray Loon Kuminga lineup is too detrimental to spacing to play it let alone in the playoffs. Steph walked into Steve’s office in the most important game of the season and said. “Looney has to start”. That’s all you need to know. It’ll be the usual suspects and DDV if Wiggs is out.

Anthony Lamb is definitely going to get the start

Him and GP2 are gonna be needed big time.

or what? not play him? they made the announcement. he’s coming off the bench.

  12. calartnick

Nah, i think the team goes small and starts either DDV or GP2 to guard Fox. I don’t want Klay or Steph to have to deal with him.

Bench unit of Poole/Kuminga/Wiggins is tasty though

Besides Wiggs/GP2 health and stamina, I think Kuminga’s level of play is one of if not the most important factor in this series. I think we know what we’re gonna get from the other guys for the most part, and we should have enough offense because the Kings most likely won’t lock us down, but how Kuminga plays is a bit of an unknown. If he is a lock down defender the whole series and minimizes mistakes, the Kings are in for a long (short) series. Also, if Kuminga hits his threes and contributes in his normal offensive ways otherwise, that’s gonna make their job on defense much harder than it already is.

If he becomes a more athletic draymond green but with a shot then all bets are off

But then, maybe Kerr will surprise us a bit and put Lamb there lol
