I’ll believe it when PG gets upgraded to questionable. There was video of Kawhi practicing last year, but he never played. So for me, these videos of PG practicing means nothing. I believe PG will be available in the 2nd round if the Clippers pull off the upset.
On the flipside… in the 2021 playoffs, the Clippers led on that Kawhi could return. When in actuality he had torn his ACL. Last season, they let everyone think Kawhi might return for the playoffs. He wasn't even close.

If PG-13 comes back he needs to be more of a 3-D player and not try to do to much on the offensive end. His defense will be very important against KD which he gives the Clippers a longer defender to try to slow down KD. This is definitely the most intriguing match up of the first round because there are so many variables that can go either way. Westbrook and Norman Powell will be the deciding factor in this series. Westbrook must defend and keep his turnovers down and Powell must continue to provide that offensive spark. Clippers have 2 solid Bigs to cancel out Ayton but the Clippers still need to shoot the 3 at a high clip like they were doing during the regular season. I have the Clippers in 6

I honestly don't understand why people think the clippers can win without PG. Even with PG they haven't been a great defensive team.
At least not championship great.
They don't have a great play maker.
They struggle in half court offense.

Kawhi is a step below KD in scoring and he's not even in the same league in creating advantages for his team.
You can legit make the case KD is a better defender than anyone on that clippers team at this moment.
The sun have the best player in the series and the third best player if PG doesn't play. Probably the 4th best player too.
While the clippers are a bit more solid from 4-10 you are still like an AD away from actually putting up a challenge to the suns.
