  1. coach, first id like to thank you and all the players for an emotional season and giving us fans something to cheer for. i know you or any of the players will watch this vid but i still like to get something off my chest. i hope it doesnt come across as anything crazy because its not intended to trash anyone or any fan or any condition. there is something in Louisiana that not a not of outsiders will understand unless they live in Louisiana for a long period of time..heck, id even say many who are born and raise here would even recognize this or even acknowledge it.. but we down here have a lot of pride in our community/state. we know down deep inside that we dont have a lot of shiny stuff like many other states does. our roads are full of holes, our weather is hot as heck, our education is at the bottom of the barrel, our health is near last in the country, our cancer rate is the highest of anywhere around the world, and our homes are all sinking. what we do have that is greater than all other states are our pride. we have HUGE pride in everything we do. we dont have Arnold Schwarzenegger to fill our potholes, we have Latoya the distroya that make more holes. my house is NOT SINKING, its having that gansta lean, swag some would call it. our education is not last, we just party to much.

the reason why i tell you this is because im not sure if you or many of our players understand this. the moment you guys represent our city/state, that is the moment we will fight for you. i get that there are times the arena dont get filled up as many other places but our citizens are trying to take their hard earned money(which is not much by the way) to come when ever we can. NBA games are not like NFL games where its on the wknds. many of our citizens have to work during the wk so many may not be able to come but we do watch it on TV. whats disheartening is when we hear or see players arent having the same feelings toward us. i get some talk a certain talk but sometimes actions means a lil more. im not trying to point fingers out at any players but as a whole, i sure hope our players understand that to us fans that live here and many cannot leave, this is all we have and we are tryin to make the most of it. to our players and coaches, many will leave the area, with their riches, to escape but to us, we are here 24/7. losing this last game was hard on us not because we didnt make it to the playoffs. for me and many, its about pride. we all know whats at stake with the Lakers pick and our reputation around the league. the whole league and its reporters are constantly trying to poach our great players in the past, ala chris paul and anthony davis. instead of staying to build, these dudes used their time here in NOLA to better themselves and then leave when their wings are developed. sure those management at the time could have put together a better team to support these players but in the end they left. now we have another opportunity with BI and Zion and we know that this is our best chance to ever bring that basketball pride back to Louisiana. if u watch and listen to our fans supporting all local states sports with this understanding of pride in mind, u will see what im talking about. it showed in the LSU Lady Tigers championship run. its showing again in the LSU gymnastics, and LSU baseball. it showed in Saints games and im sure it showed at Pels games.

coach, our coaches and players will leave now that the season is over but i sure hope one day they understand that our fan base are different from others. we may cheer the same, sound the same but our reasons for cheering are different. sports is what we have and to many, all we have. ever imagine why Louisiana, per capita, is one the highest if not highest rate of pro athletes competing? its because this is the way of life for many down in the south. once again, im not mad that we lost the last game.. im just simply tryin to let our players understand that hey we got ur back if u got ours. come back stronger next season and lets dance.

one more thing.. i dont know why its so hard to understand that our weather down here is different from other places and all our athletes HAVE to stretch/stay hydrated with proper nutrition or else their muscles will lock up and could tear during activities.

  2. I’m laughing because last season David Griffin couldn’t wait to get in front of the cameras and now he’s MIA. What a wonderful human being🤣🤣🤣

  3. Get some shooters, floor spacers, that will keep teams from playing box n 1 and clogging up the paint. Also, get some big men that can run and shoot 3’s, not the traditional 7’ bigs, he can big 6’10” with size but can switch on defense and shoot the 3. JMO🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

  4. The bottom line is we won 6 mores games than last year but we didn’t make the playoffs. Willie is a great coach but he gonna get the blame. We got too many injuries and players who just aren’t consistent with shooting 3s. I love this coach. He’s not the problem.

  5. I’m disappointed in the season but I want to see Willie do well. He seems like a good dude and I like to see good people win.
