If the Knicks lose, they lose. I'm hoping they don't but it wouldn't necessarily be a failure of a season however, I feel like Jalen Brunson wants to prove to everyone how much a great point guard he is and what better stage to do it on than New York in the playoffs on national TV. You can tell he isnt scared or intimidated by all the hype. He also has his boy on board in Josh Hart who both put in work while they were at Nova together.
Randle has a better head on his shoulders this time around and knows he has help unlike the 2021 Playoffs. Grimes, Quickly and Toppin seem like they are blossoming into much better players and welcoming the spotlight. Look what Quick did to the Celtics on national TV. I think the Knicks are massively underrated in how good they can be. IMO they can beat almost anyone in the league and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they go deep in the playoffs.

The Knicks are a streaky team – they can win 9 games in a row and then lose 5 or 6 games in a row – lets see which Knicks team shows up in the playoffs – as a Knicks fan lets hope RJ Barrett is judicious in his shot selection – he is far more effective offensively when he drives to the basket for high percentage 2 point layups and dunks – I hope he leaves the three point shooting to his teammates
