  1. It wasn’t a lost season. We learned a lot. One that our GM is incompetent but we have to keep him because he was a diversity hire. Two that you can’t lose your best defender and two top creators and expect to get better and three that perhaps the sophomore jinx for Kidd isn’t a jinx, it’s a pattern. We have to decide to go young and blow it up or really f*** up the future and give Kyrie a max, sign a bunch of low cost vets and try it again. How we do in the lottery should tell us what direction to go. If we lose the pick to NYK we HAVE TO try it once again because we don’t have any young talent coming our way. The best case scenario is trade Kyrie for ayton, draft the best young wing and go out and find some young low cost wings to fill out our rotation. I’d trade bullock and whoever to New York to get our pick back and attempt to get young like Luka.
I just assume Kyrie doesn’t want to be here as much as he’d prefer to be on the west coast or in Phoenix. Regardless he’s a cancer. Let’s start over. We ain’t winning with this roster.
