[King] Jaylen Brown on Al Horford: “Can’t say enough about Al. Al’s a professional. He does it on both ends. He makes timely shots, timely plays, timely rebounds. And he’s probably one of the best off-court leaders in the NBA.”

With so many tempestuous locker rooms in the NBA, we’re extremely lucky to have Papa Al keeping things copacetic and paving the way for our stars. What a guy.

We need a chip so bad to cement this team in history.

I want him to stay around after he’s done as an assistant coach. The Horfords love Boston, and Boston loves them right back, I want Al to stick here.

Don’t know how anyone could not love him. Angry Al is the man

The 30 piece against the bucks last year is one my all time favorite Celtic moments.

    The dunk!

Can’t say enough how great of a move Brad made in bringing him back

When the Celtics let Horford walk I said that the reason why this was a mistake is because Jaylen Brown was soaking up Al Horford’s leadership. Al coming back completely changed the dynamics of this team for the better.

I’ve talked with peripheral people with access to the Celtics (caterers, photographers, security, etc) and they all say that Al is all-around the best guy and treats everybody with decency and kindness. The fact that his sister sent so much love to Boston even when they were in Philadelphia is proof that he and his family want to be here. There is nothing not to love.
