Roster matters and the Memphis Juveniles don't have it to have a fair game with the Lakers. Today they've experienced the ferocity of the people around DA and LeBron. With Rui Hachimura's sniping and Austin Reeves' dribble penetration the Juveniles didn't know what hit them.
The 'He can't guard me" chant of Morant is a lie. Vanderbilt guarded him and just made him an ineffective star on Memphis. His score tells it all. With the way it's going, we'll see the same thing happening again in game 2.

The Memphis Juveniles just woke up to the reality that the Lakers could be the king of the West.
And what's worse, offensively, LeBron did not play well today. All LeBron did was to orchestrate his gang's attack and the Juveniles melted just like ice cream under the sun. That cannot happen on a playoffs game.
This is the scary scenario: The Lakers are getting lethal every game since changing the face of the roster. And if LeBron will get periods of rest like he did today, for sure, he'll be ready for the start of the 7 game championship series.

Our half court sets suck. There is a lot of standing around and only getting in to the action late in the clock. Also this team cant rebound to save their lives.

As a Laker fan, I'm hoping Ja recovers and is ok to play at a competitive level. Championships are earned by beating the best, and obviously the Grizzlies arent their best without their best player.

Honestly I think the teams that end up in the play in already have an advantage because they havenβt been sitting at home. Nevertheless this next game the grizzlies will be ready and acclimated to playoff intensity. Go Grizzlies!!!
Stop letting brooks take those shots man! Heβs being left open for a reason. If heβs not going to the rim, stop drawing up plays for him to shoot. The offense needs to run through Ja , Jx3, Bane, and Kennard. Anyone else should be getting points through rebounds, and open looks.

I dont get where NOT THE FANS but the actual players themselves are talking down to the LAKERS and Lebron. Barring injuries WE ALL knew the LAKERS are a dangerous team specially having their main players LEBRON N AD winning a chip under their belt together. But the LAKERS rotation with REEVES RUI and SCHOODER. This 3 guys can pick up the slack from out of nowhere.. the fact that their barely rounding into a cohesive unit and already having the best record after all star break is really mystifying.
