Kap calls this game “an embarrassment” down the stretch. They had a great compete level all game. The Bulls were winning with 2 minutes – 29 seconds to go. But during the rest of the game they were outscored 13-1. Zach Lavine was terrible tonight!!! He was great on Wednesday night. But tonight, he couldn’t make baskets and his decision-making was not good. Zach was 6-21 shooting and 0-6 from 3-point land. He also had 5 turnovers. Nikola Vucevic was not much better. He had 12 points and 9 rebounds. He just wasn’t much of a factor in the game.
DeMar DeRozan had 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists. Kap says he way very good. And he says Coby White was outstanding. He was 4-6 from 3 and had 14 points. He also had 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
But Kap says there are a few big stories in the game. He didn’t understand taking Coby White out down the stretch. Coby was banging shots left and right and then Billy took him out of the game. And Andre Drummond was dominating in the paint in the limited minutes he played. But he only got 10 minutes in the game. But Kap says the biggest problem in the game was Max Strus – the Chicago-land product. Strus was once on the Windy City Bulls.
The day they were going to call him up to the Chicago Bulls, he tore his ACL. He then rehabbed with the Bulls. This was when the Bulls made their front office change and brought AK in. AK and Eversley decided they didn’t need Strus and let him go.
They didn’t even make him an offer. And of course, Strus made 7 3-point baskets in the game tonight. He was outstanding. But Kap (and NBC Sports Chicago’s post-game crew) wants to know why the Bulls never got physical with Strus. They let him throw up open looks all night. No one fouled him or tried to make life tough for him. Kap then gives you a quote from Strus about AK letting him go that you’re going to want to hear.
The season is over. Kap says there needs to be major change to this roster in the off-season. Will this be Zach’s last game with the Bulls?

Kap i can’t lie some of your takes were horrible in this game you don’t want the bulls to make the playofffs to episodes ago but now you’re pissed I get it but again I feel like your efforts on this video should be more on the front office and ownership it would be a much more productive and engaging video if you did that. The bulls have all their picks bar one from next year onwards (lotter protected) with the play from zach lavine and alex caruso and demar derozan you have tradeable assets that allow you to pick a direction and recoup capital or retool the roster like you said again i understnd reporters like you dont really understand basketball ht please take a second to evaluate befor you make videos it would genuinely make your content even better and increase your retention minutes
The main factor in this loss is lack of spacing. Paint got packed, our guys can't shoot from 3, so blitzing the paint wasn't gonna happen. Billy made questionable decisions but we also need some roster changes. It is what it is.
Trade them all no chemistry and had the game, blew it. Zach come up short 6-15 with 15pts that’s a loss and bad coaching rotation.

Bulls need a coach
First half was a disaster. Better second and third quarters. Strus got hot from 3, a problem fur us all season and Zach could not get going. Overall, I am proud of how they competed over the last two games. Time for our disatrous front office to now do their job in the off season.

Given his age and the amount of years left on his deal, their was no reason to keep DeMar through this past offseason and trade deadline, his value was never and will never be as high as it was after last year. Also, now the geniuses in the front office probably have to overpay Vucevic or see him walk for nothing.
The Bulls, much like the Sox, FROM THE TOP DOWN are not committed to winning a championship.

Zach, is not a star, he is a complimentary player, the Bulls are made up of too many complimentary players. Until they get a true superstar, they will only go so far; losing a play-in game or being a 7/8 seed and never being much better and losing season in and season out, and being nothing more than an average team. Oh well, wait till next year, it's all you have for now, seeing as how their season is now done.

change is needed. Start with coaching for having that joke of a center who lacks aggression and the foot speed play quality minutes during crunch time. He refuse to be assertive in the paint. Drummond was far more impactful in limited minutes. Too bad coach doesn't have a feel for the game. In my opinion that's where it fell apart in the end.
Wack Max Zach Lavine, Demar Defrozen, Pat Donut 0 Bev, I cant put Vuc in cause they dont know how to use him but that was a total dud.
Billy Donovan another masterpiece of coaching! Why takeout Drummond & Coby White when they were giving a spark to the offense/defense! Vuc cannot defend vs Bam he got bullied like a ragged doll.

This entire season was an embarrassment; BD got his ass handed to him from a strategy and player rotation as usual. Managements personnel moves are non sensical Dragic Vuc Ball although can’t predict injuries and Lavine as a MAX player give me a break. Don’t think they will get smarter over the summer
Both the Sox and the Bulls have ownership that's perfectly satisfied with mediocrity. Winning shines too bright of a light on the Reinsdorfs, and they don't like bright lights. They just want to quietly rake in their millions and be left alone. I wouldn't expect any big changes. DeRozan and LaVine will continue to be the main characters. The only thing thats going to change is a few faces on the bench. They'll be hovering around .500 again next season folks, so start getting ready for it now.
We need to stop thinking and treating we had a playoff roster. The management team needs to review what they have and obtain better long term assets. Most of these players aren't going to be a part of a championship team here.
Defense was bad
First, this roster is cooked. No identity, don’t play D, can’t shoot from 3. Second, despite some fanfare coming to Chicago, AK is not up to the task. Dude is no better than garpax. What a mess.
