Nick Nurse OUT As Raptors Head Coach | What Went Wrong?

Nurse should have been fired in 2021. Team took steps backwards since 2019. He couldn’t change his in game decisions and developing young players flaws showed. Obviously he lost the room this season and they didn’t listen or want to play for him.
5 years is a long time to be constantly yelling at the refs and players all game every game. And NN is a raptors legend, he figured out how to stop Giannis and it resulted in a title. No hard feelings at all.
What went wrong? The blame falls at the feet of Ujiri and his experiment of a team with players all the same size. That’s not Nurses fault. Not one team in the playoffs has a team built like that. They all have a big man. So at the deadline Ujiri got his Center but at the cost of a first rounder and a play in game that even if they would have won would have got them nowhere. At the deadline the Raps we’re going nowhere anyway so why give up the chance of getting a player like Zack Edey? Sure they would likely have had to give up Siakim or Van Vleet to move up, but now you can forget it. I wish Nurse good luck ahead but I’m sure his next team will be much better than the Raps will be for a long time.
Udoka not coming to the raptors he has accusations against him for sending unwanted messages to a female which had the police involved. MLSE own the Blue Jays also u guys remember Roberto Osuna once he got arrested he was traded away the jays washed their hands off him. Odoka never got charged but the police got involved so if Osuna was sent packing raptors not touching Odoka

This is one front office. Should have traded everyone at the deadline
Other than 2019, he only got them out of the 1st round once while missing the play offs 2 of 4 other years. Those are bad stats for a coach no?

2. He doesn’t have what it takes to develop young players
3. He couldn’t recreate as other coaches figuring out how to beat his program.
4. Masai Ujiri wants to develop their young players and win with them but Nick Nurse wants to coach already developed players.

Precious, FVV, and GTJr should not be starters. If they want to be starters then find another team that fits their egos.

I know basketball, played it for 25 years. The Raptors problem and it’s been historical- they cannot rebound.
