If nothing else he is gaining valuable playoff experience which I’m sure they will be thankful for next year.
It’s a good mentality to have and maybe they can steal game 4 but this ends in 5 at most. Even when the Nuggets look like they’re taking it easy the Wolves can’t close the gap. That was the fourth quarter last night. Make it a one or two possession game, then immediately give up 6-7 points, it was like clockwork.
The Wolves are a pretty resilient team. I thought there was a few times in game 2 and 3 where Denver was close to breaking their spirit and they kept coming. I have no doubt if Denver loses focus the Wolves can win a game or 2.

This series would have been so much more competitive if Jaden McDaniels hadn’t punched that wall. While he might not be a star, what he does for Minny is exactly what they could use right now. Despite that, they were within striking range for two of the games, so it isn’t out of the question that they could steal one back. I hope they do, I want to see more of Ant (and Gobert taking jumpers).
There is a chance they’ll win game 4, but the series is definitely over. But I’m glad Ant has this mentality. It’s a shame he doesn’t have a better team around him.
