Personally, I feel like the best possible decision we could make is to feel out how we think the order of the draft might go, then try to trade up for one of Jarace Walker or Taylor Hendricks. Both low usage guys on rookie deals and both project as far better defenders than Kuzma from year one.

You do know 3 & D means 3pt shooting and defense right? Kuzma is a career 33% shooter from 3, Giddey shot 32.5% this year. Kuz is also cheeks on defense so idk where that came from. He’s also going to want a bag for his next contract, signing him would mean that you eliminate the possibility of keeping at least one of Giddey, Chet, or JDub. The people who were making fun of you for this take were right then, and they’d be right now too
