Not buying that one. Team went up and then they couldn’t make point blank shots. Couldn’t make free throws. JB is the only coach you’ll see in the sport that gets blamed for players missing free throws.

Knicks have scored 100 points once in the last 3 games averaging 83 shots per game. That’s excellent defense which comes from coaching and game planning, but we don’t want to talk about that fact.

But we will see people crying for Nick Nurse that hasn’t taken Toronto anywhere without KL

  2. There are two rookie coaches in both conferences(Lakers and Celtics) and Bickerstaff is far worse than them

I guess but honestly who is JB supposed to play? The starting Five have three none shooters. Mitchell and Garland are heavily reliant on making difficult shots in order for them to have good offensive games. Mobley and Allen can’t create their own offense and are reliant on the two guards. Wade, Stevens, Rubio and Lopez are all unplayable. That leaves Cedi and LeVert as our main bench pieces who are both wildly inconsistent. Nearly every player in our rotation is flawed in some way.

Some of these takes are ridiculous, I don’t think we are watching the same game. We needs to get fucking buckets that’s the issue. Missing open shots, missing threes.

I just think players need to make shots. The open looks were there and mitchel got to spots where he can make his shots.

Been saying JB is bad all year and got nothing but downvotes for it.

i think my main issue with JB is that he had such a short rotation and (short leash on players) during the regular season and heavy reliance on the stars. When the playoff starts and teams starts scheming against you, the team needs certain role players to step up and I guess there isn’t much flow with the starters and the role players.

I’ve said it since last year during the play in, JB needs to go!

Nah it’s a curse. Cleveland cannot beat New York in anything. It doesn’t matter if you have Francona and a 2-1 series lead. Or you’re up two touchdowns with less than two minutes left againt Joe Flacco. New York always seems to come out on top. And now this…JB isn’t a great coach but the moment I saw we were playing thr Knicks in the first round I knew the odds weren’t good.

we have zero quality players coming off the bench – and we don’t have a great coach – bad combination. Yes, I’m calling Levert a starter.

How the fuck is the whole world blaming JB for this? Wtf is happening?

  12. hostileclowns

A lot of ppl here defending JB are kind of missing the point of why ppl are calling out his coaching job. No one’s blaming him for things out of his control but some of his rotations, offensive sets, and defensive matchups have been very questionable this series.

No. The Knicks are just better than us bro…

Worst coached? Maybe. JB does have the least experience of all coaches in the playoffs.

To his defense though, it’s hard to put out a lethal offense when the only threat is Donovan Mitchell. The defense will always be good. Lots of inconsistency from the likes of garland and lack of strength to fight in the paint are the big factors the team is down.
