As a “we should keep white and trade DJ” since the nuggets series I’ll say this sucks to see for him personally but it confirms what I thought for years….. spurs hid a lot of the problems and set him up to look his best and the trade looks like a robbery at this point.
Regarding the “Tatum did it too” ppl…. I HATE when ppl play dumb when we all can use context to see how the two are different. The ref and Tatum go into each other with the ref trying to stop him incase he tries to go at the hawks players after being thrown down mid air. Refs get in the middle all the time, meanwhile DJ runs up on the ref after the game completely randomly and intentionally seeks out contact. Let’s keep it 100%
Shouldn’t be surprised — he squared up on a player, Harden, on Pop, his coach in a game, only right Refs get the same energy next 🙄 he needs to grow dafuq up — these little tantrums & BS taunting gestures do him no favors when he’s playing to get his next big max deal smh

Agreed. That COULD be a 1 game suspecion, because the game was over. During a Game… that would get you thrown out. Not just a T, but straight out the game. So after a game, equivalent is thrown out of the NEXT Game. If league looks at this, he is DONE for the playoffs.

I actually really agree that he has some bully characteristic. He’s a bully. Spurs culture maintained it and kept him in his place, but now that he’s lose its very obvious.
Of course, he wants a one game suspension so he can say that they lost the series because he wasn't there to play. The old saying a person has to only be bitten once by a snake to go in the opposite direction when coming across another. Spurs saw this an shipped him off for what they could get.

We he calls as a “yes men” it’s called coaching and mentoring to become a true professional
DJ’s just too angry for his own good. Like some other people said, Spurs should be commended for how they handled him while he was here.
Of course there were moments and signs of who he really is – like when he kicked the ball at a ref in the fourth quarter of a game last year, and I think he got ejected. But nothing like he’s been doing since.
