  1. Nick didn't use hois players properly. Masi trades for 3 point shooters and unless they were vets , Nick didn't trust them. Kawhi makes coaches look good

  2. I am glad NN is gone as is anyone who understands the game. His biggest supporters were the TO. media empire that ignores reality for simplistic admiration and a good quote. Multiple examples of the In-crowd of Smith & Grange not reporting, but rather, propping up those who fit the narratives of MSM. FVV, Siakam, & NN to name the most recent. Their game play, gaslighting, blame game never covered up their weaknesses and there were many. Singling out Scottie or any other player who was pushed to the side by the narcissistic duo of FVV and NN just goes to show how stupid anyone who does this is. He’s a legitimate superstar and his “mentor” and coach spent the year ambushing and undermining him. Now they’re turning on Masai and Bobby who got rid of a manipulator who put himself above the team. It will all come out as soon as FVV is gone and every putz who said different will have to swallow their bs.
P.s. Good luck Doug Smith trying to get a quote from Scottie or Masai in the future. You’ve been outed as a sycophant and a spinner of narratives and they’ll never trust you again. The majority of the fan base already doesn’t and Grange… he’s walking a knife blade. The bs doesn’t work anymore and pushing it out there just reinforces how many liars have to be dealt with.

  3. Masai and Weaver in Detroit like the same type of player. 6’8, long and can play multiple positions. I know fans think they’re more in the now than Doug who’s covered this team for 30 years but the roster makeup wasn’t Nn’s decision it was masais.

  4. What are these guys on about, saying that Masai put all the blame on nurse. Masai kept repeating that it was his fault too and that he needed to do better as well. I honestly doubt they even watched the press conference. Stick to hockey and stop spreading lies

  5. Bullcrap! NN was the problem! Without doubt! NN is overrated. No communication skills with assistants or players for the most part. Other than his crony Nate, who was fired from Pacers!

  6. It should become more clearer over time that this firing had very little to do with roster that NN had to work with and more about NN's individual NBA coaching career goals ie money. NN seemed to be fostering an incredibly toxic work environment behind the scenes one where he's not communicating directly with many players in private, sending assistant coaches home without advising the front office, putting up a wall between assistant coaches and players, disregarding the front office's playing time-player development concerns, becoming increasingly unhinged and eventually quiet quitting a few weeks before the regular season ended. I find it very believable that Klutch Sports got in his ear and NN started to coach more so to get his guys better stats for upcoming contracts (especially his Klutch Sports brother FVV), while putting off the development of the younger and/or bench players, so that he may get fired and have the opportunity elsewhere for a bigger payday.

  7. bob McCown doesn't know basketball hes a hockey guy its cringe watching him act like he knows anything about basketball

  8. You guys should stick to hockey. Scottie is the Raps future!! Masai understands that better than anyone. Nurse felt he should be 4th or 5th option last year and he still won Roty. Masai will trade Pascal and Fred eventually it will be Scotties team. How come you can't see that building a team around Fred and Pascal doesn't lead to a championship. Nurse enabled Fred's selfish play and Masai had enough!

  9. If Ujiri hires Udoka, the ex Celtics coach, cheating on his wife with an underling, Ujiri would lose a lot respect.

  10. Nick Nurse has expressed on several instances his philosophical stance towards ultra aggressive defensive schemes. Apart from the absence of a rim protector the 6 foot 9 roster construction with an emphasis on defense first players was likely met with approval from Nurse. Having said that, Masai and Bobby should be in the hotseat now if they weren't already.
