Knicks lowkey better without Randle. JB, Hart, Grimes, Quickley, Obi, Mitch and Hartenstein are all great. The Knicks need to trade RJ and Randle in the offseason. RJ might have some trade value if he continues to not be awful in the playoffs. Randle would be a great 3rd option on a contender, him cosplaying as a #1 option in NYC is less than ideal. Stats are somewhat empty and he is usually god awful in crunch time. Sometimes less is more, which is why the team usually plays better when Obi is in for Randle.
I'm with Kawhi. Dude watched his father get murdered and watched his sister get sent to prison for life.
He knows how short life is and if you look at these dudes who played through injury and they can barely walk today. Not to mention in the modern nba where everything is cranked to 11 i dont care how good you are, if you have a torn meniscus you're going to be a liability out there because you can't keep up.
All it takes is one or two healthy years and they have a real shot at a chip. Kawhi is only 31.
But it might be time to change up his physical rehabilitation team and get in as good as shape as he possibly can. It might be time to consider load management is a bad idea because it gets your body out of game shape making injuries actually more likely. Not saying it's true but worth looking into.
