  1. There a better way to analyze what went wrong in TEN points:

    1) Brooklyn had an insane rollercoaster season losing a coach before game 10..

    2) The Kyrie Irving drama took the fun again out of Brooklyn and hurt the culture.

    3) Coach Vaughn led this team well and got KD and Kyrie to finally start playing well together and they went on a 12 game winning streak

    4) Kevin Durant gets hurt and Kyrie Irving wants a full max contract due missing half the games he's supposed to play and wants to get traded.

    5) Kevin Durant then doesn't want to be a leader and requests a trade again

    6) Brooklyn pulls off two blockbuster trades bringing together a new core of Mikal Bridges Cam Johnson Dorian Finney Smith Nic Claxton and Spencer dinwiddie

    7) This new core had only 24 games together to meld three different playing styles from Dallas Pheniox and Brooklyn

    8) Brooklyn not having an effective backup center behind Nic Claxton hurt Brooklyn rebounding numbers which ultimately hurt all their good scoring to stay in the fight against the 76er.

    9) Ben Simmons whose on a max contract for two more years has been unavailable in back to back playoff series for Brooklyn.

    10) Lastly since 2019 the beginning of the superstar era Brooklyn hasn't had a solid foundation or team that's been together for more then four years….

  2. Let's all forget about getting a superstar or drafting for a minute.

Brooklyn biggest problem this season was not getting offensive or especially defensive rebounds…

That element literally took away a lot of the good scoring the new core brought to Brooklyn and it needs to be solved if Brooklyn wants to win games by bigger margins.

Brooklyn needs a backup center behind Claxton such as a Naz Reid Torrey Craig PJ Washington or mason plumlee…

The bench needs to be taller grittier and have a all around bulldog mentality…..

  3. Here's an idea. Since Brooklyn is lacking a sixth man and Spencer dinwiddie is the only real point guard Brooklyn has why not take a chance and sign Russel Westbrook to a minimum contract to join Brooklyn and become that sixth man off the bench??

Russel Westbrook numbers got so much better as a backup point guard and his defense against the Sun's was something else and he led in different categories for the clippers in the playoffs..

Westbrook is not the player he used to be. But he could be even better helping mentor the young skilled talent in Brooklyn and making an impact….

  4. The reasons the Nets were swept, by the 76ers, have been discussed, ad nauseam, by probably, every fan, pundit, amateur observer, and Monday morning quarterback in the country. It serve no, useful purpose, to do a deep analysis why. Those that think they had a game plan or strategy that would have prevented it have an inflated view of their basketball IQ. We were beat by a championship contending team. We're far from that. They have an advantage in talent. Because of their continuity, they have better chemistry and a competent stable coaching staff. You could be critical of the pace, rebounding, and your usual default player to blame when things go wrong, (Dinwiddie) JV, or the lack of rebounding, but the reasons I mentioned, are obvious. I don't mind repeating, as long as it take, that JV has confidence in Spencer Dinwiddie,. He will be our starting point guard next season. Those that have a problem with that will just have to agonize about it but I hope they could do it quietly.

  5. Defense and offense and go hand-in-hand because if you can’t score you not going to make the other team tired it doesn’t matter if you can play defense
