There’s clearly a side to finch that we dont see based on how some of the players talk about him. One thats much harsher

Interesting…he seems quite reserved in his press conferences and laid back (but serious of course) in other interviews. I’m slightly surprised to hear this, but in a good way.
Good thing he’s commanding them to lead the NBA in basically every stat that represents being undisciplined. So funny how this sub just chooses to ignore facts based on how the feel about someone.

Whatever you think of Finch as a coach you have to admit he’s had an incredibly difficult job, given the circumstances under which he was hired, and the roster makeup he’s had to deal with bot this year and last. In fact, I’d say coaching this team this season was probably one of the more difficults tasks for a coach in the NBA, given the unconventional nature and poor balance of their roster. It wasnt perfect (or pretty) but it couldve been a hell of a lot worse.
You don’t fire a Timberwolves coach who made it to tge playoffs back to back years. That part is simple. If we don’t build on this team next year then it would make more sense to look for an upgrade.

Yada, yada yada. Everyone kissing everyones ass, trying to fool the fans. We all experienced the 20+blown leads most in the NBA, we foul more than any fkn team in the league, we have our max player we traded a haul for punching teammates like a middle schooler in the schoolyard, we have our best defender punching walls throwing tantrums, that really the signs of a coach who demands the respect of his players? These guys really think this fanbase is that stupid?
