Reminded me of when Michael Jordan skinned gutted cleaned cooked Clyde Drexler in a Championship series. The Knicks played pretty well against Miami this season, in fact I believe the Knicks match up better with Miami then they would have with the Bucks. Will be a tough series.
As usual ESPN talks exclusively about the loser or the Knicks who ain't done chit since 1999 Finals…… The Heat are for real… The shots haven't been fallen all year and they Are now when it matters the most.. Herro being hurt allows others to shoot and affect the game… He takes 18-19 shots a game at 42% from the field.. now those 18 shots got to Gabe, K Love, Caleb, BAM and ofcourse Jimmy eFf Buckets…
The Cavaliers really missed Kevin loves veteran leadership and the ability to come off the bench and get seven rebounds and hit 3 3s in a quarter if needed
Just like Cleveland – the Heat only won a SINGLE GAME against us this season. And guess what? The Celtics – they only managed to win a single game against us. Best thing that can happen is Boston closes out Atlanta and beats Philly, which I think they can because guess what else?? Philly only won a single game against the Celtics all year. The stars are aligned – we have a path laid out for us. Miami is a good team but much older than us as our rotation players avg age is 23.8 years old. We have so much depth while Miami is missing two of their best players in Oladipo and Herro. Anyway we gave them fits all year long. As long as we can keep Jimmy under 30 each game and as long as Mitchell Robinson plays like he played against Allen and Mobley – Jalen Brunson can lead this team to the promised land – with or without Julius Randle apparently. He's made himself the odd man out – lots of Knicks fans are of the same mind as me – he doesn't fit with this squad. As long as he's getting the ball and being the hero scorer he's happy. But he's very selfish, could only think of himself sitting with this mean mug even though his team was winning. And what the HELL was he doing not wearing hi top kicks. Matter of fact – why the hell would Thibs play him with a 3-1 lead for Christ's sake. That was dumb as hell and I don't hear anybody holding him accountable for it. Just like he never holds Julius accountable for his bs. If he wasn't going to come out on the floor limping like Willis Reed – then stay in the locker room if you gonna sit there with that bad face instead of cheering on your teammates. wow. Trade that dude and get a nice haul for him. Because I have a feeling that pretty soon a lot of these big free agents are gonna wanna come play with Brunson. But screw them – we have Obi Toppin to replace Randle and Obi went off when he got to start after Randle got hurt those last few games of the season. Obi fits way better with the fast pace basketball we can play only when Julius isn't on the floor because he slows down the whole offense playing hero ball.
And just remember, Steven A wasn't that thrilled with the fact that they got Brunson and not Mitchell! Be careful what you ask for, and be grateful for what you got! Go Knicks!
