I think some people (myself included) struggle to understand how going 10/23 from the line is a step forward. In the closeout game to win the championship, he showed incredible poise knocking down 17/19 FT…where did that go?? He was also 1/9 from the field in the 4th against Miami, constantly putting up hopeless midrange jumpers. Just felt like a major mental failure on his part from a decision-making and poise perspective. Hopefully a better coach with a competent scheme will resurrect Game 6 Giannis.

They’re also conveniently ignoring that Kobe Bryant said basically the same thing which I find hilarious because Kobe is revered in the NBA.
People like to be reactionary, and people who haven’t played sports or gone through hardships (or both) like Giannis has, tend to not understand that at the end of the day it’s just a game for 48 minutes. You win some, you lose some. Is the goal to win as much as possible? Obviously. Sometimes it doesn’t work and that’s ok as well.
Life is so much bigger than just putting a ball through a hoop on one end and trying to stop another person from the same on the other end.
