There is some sexist bullcrap in these comments. Hammon did 9 years under pop as assistant coach. Last year won the WNBA and got coach of the year. My only concern is us being even less of a FA destination because of sexist crap like I'm seeing in here. She's easily one of the most qualified for the job. Other concerns would be the media turning it into a circus. I would be behind Hammon 100% if she is hired.

Honestly, if Becky is technically up to the task, getting her would actually be an advantage. No one's gonna try harder, is gonna wanna win more, than the fucking first female coach ever in the NBA. That being said, if they hire her and the first thing they talk about is how she is the first female coach in the NBA as opposed to her qualifications to do the job, you know from the jump Udoka was right about the Raptors being too damn woke.

I'm just patiently waiting for the announcement , I have no preference really. I just want the coach to have movement, on the course, fast pace play, and hard core grit/aggression. Attitude that says don't fc8k with me, we own this court especially when Canadian come home to play us Raptors.. Let them know Toronto Raptors is our home course and we will mop the floor with your blood sweat and tears… No losing in our hours.

I'm a boss of an only male industry. I put myself there. If you're good at your shit any man will listen to you. Most of the basketball I played was with men. They never had an issue with me playing. So, yes there are women who are THAT good at what they do.
