my mom was dating a guy who was a big villanova fan during those championship runs so i was aware of brunson from his rookie season despite being a second round pick, been a fan of his for his whole career and was really hoping when the mavs didnt extend him that the knicks would be able to sign him because we desperately needed and point guard and i thought he could he average 18 and 7 while being a good game manager, when we signed him for his deal i thought that it was perfectly fine and people were way over reacting calling it a major overpay, brunson turned out to be way better then i ever could have hoped for and now has proven that he is actually underpaid and is a legit star level guard

Honestly, I am not surprised Jalen is this good. He’s not the biggest, fastest and most athletic player there is yet this dude is one hell of a player. He said himself he has always been underrated his whole career. This is the guy who won national player of the year and won March Madness, twice, and yet people still doubt him. A guy with a chip on his shoulder as big as Jalen’s is a stone cold killer. I really hope we win a chip with Jalen at the helm.
